I roughly cut around the bit I want, then copy it. Then open a new image with a transparent background and paste it in...then just zoom in and use the eraser to remove the bits I don't want....means I can save the image and use it again and again. This is using GIMP rather than PS, so there may be an easier way.

I duplicate the background layer and put a flat colour - something bright so you can see where you are working - behind it. then use the lasso to remove most of the background of the pic you are editing - a few millimetres from the edges of what you are trying to remove. Then go round the rest of it with a brush eraser, on about 50% flow with a brush hardness of about 80% - should take all the edges off without looking 'ripped' or blurry.

i use the same method as Art, but zoom in about 400% and use the eraser. Another trick is to copy the background layer and use that as a final top layer and erase again, with 45% opacity so effectively wiping out any mistakes, and blending better.

Just joking. Any good bit torrent site will have it. Get yourself a program called Bitlord and then go to a torrent site and do a search.

Anyway, I know I've asked this before, but I had the page bookmarked and I lost it, but where do you find all the decent pictures of our players from? I'm looking a few of Hyypia. Portrait and in action.

Well, if you want the full program to use for more than 30 days, then it's the only way to go. Or you could just spend about 80 quid in the shop. Your choice.

You won't clutter your comp.
Bitlord or any other Torrent software will hardly clog your system.

After downloading and seeding you could always delete the software.

ImageShack is awful for posting stuff that will get a lot of views. Seems like photos gets removed due to high bandwidth usage a lot.
