What's left to be said? Nothing I've not said a hundred times already. Fabio is class, it is that simple. One of the technical elite group of our players (together with Xabi, Gerrard, Agger, and Torres) that are a joy to watch with the ball at their feet.
No surprise though, seem to recall a certain surging run and excellent pass for Torres' goal at the San Siro this time a year ago, and he's done it again. Fingers crossed as always (I'm never resurrecting my permacrock thread for fear of jinxing him) but it looks like he's recapturing his old Valencia form, solid defending whilst providing a versatile outlet in a more advanced position, and some joy at set-pieces. Regardless of Xabi's form, I think this season, we've found our real Gareth-Barry-killer.
Was fortunate enough to be at the match last night, and aside from his assist, and his calm but assured marshalling of that tricky charlie uniform etc. Robben, the thing I appreciate most seeing Aurelio live (aside from his superb technical ability) which you don't get much of on TV, is his off-the-ball movement - almost like he's seeing the game with an enhanced perspective to other players.
