Good win for kavanagh, weird card at 30-27 considering McCourt clearly won the last. Shite performance from mccourt though considering she was fighting a one legged fighter the whole fight

Made me cringe when she was going for that leg! Had to double check she wasn’t fighting out of Cobra Kai - no mercy!

Cain Velasquez arrested for attempted murder :o

He chased and shot some guy who molested a young girl in his family. Good on him I say, hope he isn't punished too harshly.

Drake dropped $275k on Masvidal.

Just goes to show how the other 'half' live.

I sat up to watch that last night, probably the most disappointing main UFC card I've seen.

Well I think he those to a certain degree - UFC need him - because for most MMA consumers (inc. casuals like me) he is there biggest draw - I'm pretty sure we will all be watching his next fight

I rarely watch UFC, but I'd make a point of sitting up when he is fighting.

He is such a tool. Most depressing thing is that he'll have made that back already.

As for Masvidal, the fight last night proved his level. He's never been a top fighter. He's starting to slow down and it showed.

People (like me) like watching Masvidal as he's a stand up front foot fighter, there were a few moments where he did hurt Covington but didn't try and press the advantage, Covington was a worthy winner though, no doubt about it.

Problem for Masvidal was that when he did clock Colby he has zero energy to press forward in search of a KO or stoppage - he was just simply worn out by Colby's relentless pressure and ground game.

Fair do’s to Masvidal though he managed to turn two highlight reel knockouts of Till and Askren into four big money fights with Diaz, Usman x2 and Covington. Not too shabby for someone I would consider a journeyman or place holder in the division.

Good card. I loved Ferguson in his prime, wish he was able to fight Khabib. Probably would have been put on his arse like the rest of them, but he was such an unorthodox fighter he could have troubled him. Think he’s past his best now though unfortunately due to injuries and his age.

Lots of talk that Conor is basically going to walk back in and get the winner of Oliveira-Gaethje. Ridiculous from a ranking perspective but it’s Conor so he does what the fuck he wants.

Ufc is like the opposite of boxing, in that the big money fights get put together completely ignoring ranking. Rather than the big fights being constantly avoided due to other number 1 contenders and rights.

Does anyone know if  the UFC will have a fans zone / pop up shops or anything next weekend?

My lad is competing at the Copperbox so would be boss if there was before we get the train home

If anyone sees anything, drop it in here please  8)

Chandler got a title fight on his second UFC fight, don't agree that Conor should get a title fight if he comes back, but Dana White only cares about box office.

Chandler vs McGregor would be a great fight.

That, but also remember how big a pay day it would be for Oliviera. Thats the one positive. Not a fan of him getting a shot myself, would prefer he disappeared.

If you ask Smalling and Brown if they'd rather play Suarez or Carroll, they'd say Suarez all day long, because he's not going to bully them or run in behind them.
