The biggest downer on 3kings is that you have to pay 3 quid to get in which is bollocks but you do get a bottle of beer with that so it works out as a little less.

Still, worth it as i'd rather pay to watch in there than go elsewhere for free. It'll be bouncing again, no worries about being close to chelsea

Paying to get is a bit of a downer, on the plus side you don't have to queue at the bar for 20 minutes for yer first beer.

Is F3K a little close to Chelsea territory to be a viable option.

Not at all. I saw like 6 chelsea fans in there last tuesday. The bar at the back with the big screen will at least be packed out with reds. Like I said not as good as the Arsenal games which was fantastic but still rather watch it in f3k than anywhere else in the area (except stamford bridge of course..;) )

Most chelsea fans do not live in chelsea/fulham/west ken etc. because it's too expensive. The majority come in from greater london. I remember getting a train back from Charlton a couple of years ago; Chelsea were at home the same night and Charing Cross station was full of their fans going somewhere SE London.

Should be getting in there just before 7 again personally

Victoria?  Jump on the district line, ten mins to West Kensington and F3k is right by the station.  Voila!

Fuck me, how overrated is the Three Famous Kings. Atmos is nowhere near as good as people make it out to be.

Sort it out - there are other places to watch the football around London as well  ::)

As for anyone slagging off Rafa fuck off and support Chelsea you horrible c*nts

Any suggestions for north London/City? Trains are disrupted from Olympia tomorrow night, which might rule F3K out for me

Any news from the crowd who used to go the kings head on Essex Rd?

?

Do you fancy listing those "other places"?
You would be hard pressed to find somewhere with as good an atmosphere as there was for the arsenal games, last week wasnt quite as good, but i dont know of anywhere better.

Yes.
Torres is fucking rubbish, played some decent football 2 years ago and nothing since!  If we buy him,we'll end up paying ridiculous amount of money on some overhyped shite of a player instead of focusing our attention(and money) on some truly world class strikers!!!

Hey guys,

I'm heading down to London tomorrow by train (first time ever going there) and I'm just wondering where the main congregation of fans will be heading during the day? I remember in last years semi final that fans seemed to be gathering outside in some kind of square (Trafalgar square? - no idea), so I'm just trying to get the jist of where people will be.

Got a train ticket valid for all London stations so I'm just wondering which would be the best train station to head to in terms of Liverpool fans and atmosphere. Will be getting down there for about 2pm.

Cheers!

Harsh! It can be a little intimidating when you're a girl and going somewhere that you don't really know to watch a match. Not all pubs are friendly!

It can be quite intimidating being in a pub outside of Liverpool watching the footie (esp for a girl), its better to know where to go i.e. that I'm not going to walk into a pub full of Chelsea (or manu!) supporters. Its important to get settled somewhere good before the game - don't want to have to move on after kick off.

Yeah its fine, my sis is a die hard red like myself, lives in the area and we go there all the time.

Just make sure you bring ID. Its abit strange for a pub to ID people but they do. On big football nights like this they would never think about restricting the audience! The landlords a red too. I'm 19 and never had a problem so you should be fine.

OK I'm coming clean, when you turn up tomorrow ask for Lee, thats me, I took over the 3 Kings 5 weeks ago, I was running a pub on the King's Road in Chelsea before hand, they really enjoyed the fact I was a stout red, I will be in the middle bar wearing a red shirt of sorts, can't decide which one to wear. I will be the one responsible for YNWA before the game, at halftime and at the end......

Just curious because I think it would be better to be outside for the build up during the day, providing the weather holds up!
