To the chorus of 'Sit Down' by James, for the avoidance of doubt.

We had a queue of all of two people to get in! :)

I like it through, hope they stay up.

And selling the pies off afterwards for a quid was a good idea - something our club would NEVER do!! :D Sure they'd rather throw them away

That reminds me of a night match at Upton Park about 12 years ago. I was in a seat right by the exit..about 20 mins into the second half the catering staff came up and handed me a tray of unsold pies..I ended up on the floor practically as a hundred or so travellling kopites did a mass piley on to get at them..I never even got one :(

Thought it was pretty good considering it was freezing and we had a fucking drum in our ears for 90 minutes. Love the new Salah song so much.

Less said about their fucking "Ultras" section the better though. And doing a proper Championship "you're shit argh" to Karius. ;D

It made sense at Anfield to supply an unusual and cacophonous soundtrack to the oppo goalie distributing the ball. There was always the chance the bloke in green might throw the thing in his own net.

Just remembered, at one point I noticed it actually said GOAL KICK on the board behind us too! ;D

Loved how they read their sponsors out too on all the subs and the time added on! Think Burnley do that too with the added time.

Was good to hear the new Salah song (the James one that is) at least.

I'm a little disappointed that the horse with no name song didn't catch on, suppose the James song is a decent alternative

Was alright today..James seems to winning over America..but both got an airing
Otherwise a good sing and atmosphere throughout the game

Personally had one of the worst teds ever behind me..full on south coast ..probably local to the area..had a hatred of Southampton that only a Portsmouth fan could have  :(....and bizarrely had a habit of trying to shout in a Scouse accent..the same expression every time come on Liverpool..come on red men..like a Carla Lane sitcom from the 80s :-\

Load of lads started up the "James" Mo chant but replaced with Virgil's name

Oh Virgil, Oh Virgil

Heard that a few times as well - nothing wrong with two great songs for a player!

Atmosphere was OK, nothing amazing.

I was in the Main Stand Upper against Spurs last week and strangely that was probably as good an atmosphere as yesterday.

It's a crap chant and you could only argue it being ok (although IMO it never is) when you're playing a team of a similar stature e.g. when Torres left us for Chelsea. Us singing it to a team in a relegation scrap is embarrassing. We also need to bin off the 'Virgin Van Dijk, he's winning 2-0' (player and score interchangeable). It was average at best when we sang it about Lallana winning 6-1, never mind now.

LOADS of half-half scarves in our end today! :no Large groups of tourists with them on, and outside there was even a fella in MU gear with a Sanchez scarf on wondering why the stewards pulled him aside!! ::) Not sure if he got in but was made to take them off.

Inside, some just didn't get our anger at their scarves at all, even when we were polite and said to get rid of it - they just don't get why wearing a scarf that shows support for your biggest rivals annoys supporters!!

But....a minor victory today..... Two Danish brothers by us had them but had LFC shirts and were singing songs. Looked like supporters, so my mate explained why we hate them and that only tourists buy them. They understood, and said they didn't know. One scarf got thrown on the floor right away :D, still there at the end. The other put it straight in his bag. Success! ;)

Good that so many were still singing afterwards today. Would have been better if more had sung when we went behind instead of going for an early pint, but there were a lot of confused faces around as we looked like we had won by the noise after :D
