Overall this season is OK, but I don't think it lives up to the hype.  First episode was really good and I liked it a lot.

I am pretty sure the last three episodes will be cracking.
I have read some spoilers and looks like a very interesting ending is coming.

I think this season (7 if you can call it that) is a big improvement on 6. Im quite happy with how it is at the moment.

Last season (6) sucked really bad.  It turned into Italian soap opera.
This is so much better.

And on a side note....

Double bill tonight on C4.

I feel very inadequate being not as up to date as all you downloadey type people.

No spoilers, but the latest episode in the USA was a massive one. Half saw it coming, half didn't.

I knew it was coming but not in that manner. Tony Soprano is an evil mutha fucka. I thought that seasons 4-6 1/2 were about Tony trying to reconcile whether or not he could be a good person/if he was a good person at all. I think we just found out the answer.

I agree. it was not enough that his fiance was talking(although she was coerced and lied to by the feds.) But this time He almost got Tony killed because of his habits. In the end. Our big nosed friend needed to go.

Yes, they are using series 6 to undo the like and sympathy the audience have built up for Tony, which suggests it is leading to only one place for the finale.

I am gonna be gutted when the Sopranos is gone, my favourite TV drama of all time without a doubt.

S16 E9

Absolutely CRACKING episode with some real unexpected twists and turns.

The last series was absolute rubbish but this final seson really gets back to what made The Sopranos truly great.
