The thing is West Ham look far more likely to score more, not us, we've not threatened aside from the goal, Borini is trying but thats it...

While it's nice to have options to come on, the players out there, actually selected to play, need to do their job as well.

Balotelli looks a bit fitter... Trying to put himself around. Borini / Gerrard.. Need to come off. Like playing with 9 men.

Our poor play is contagious....   To pick out one or two is miss how poorly we played as a team... This is what needs fixing, as evidenced by changing the system led to a great cross, sublime touch from Balo, and a spectacular finish from Raheem...

There are more goals in our bag.... it just means no more defensive mistakes.  That is it!

Get Borini on there. See what he can do.

Get Coutinho off and bring Borini on. Problem solved.

Wasn't funny the first time you said it, funny how he gets the jives when the team as a whole is under performing.

I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.

It's now Southampton, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Ludogrets, and West Ham where we've created almost fuck all going forward. We don't even look like scoring. I know Sturridge is out, but fuck me we should be doing better.
Remember how much we created in the opening 5 last season? Villa away one shot on target, United 2 shots on target, saints nothing, Swansea away nothing apart from the 2 goals (courtesy of Shelvey), etc... We will get better

Honestly, it disturbs me that this midfield is so anonymous and we don't seem to have any solutions whatsoever. It's leaving an already shaky defence wide open, and we have zero presence going forward either. Fair enough, we couldn't have predicted the injuries to Allen and Can but this is terrifying. And we're playing West Ham, not Madrid or City.

If the rumours of Valdes come to fruition then I think Simon has got some serious competition if he keeps this up. Of course, it helped that he had Carlos Puyol in front of him, but still... He needs a rocket up his arse, as do half of the team after that first half.
You could build a wall in front of our goal and we'd still manage to concede.

We are crazy enough to win this nonsense.

We were last season, yeah. We could score goals then though.

Chelsea were dominated at home against Swansea and were lucky to go in a 1-1 at half time las week before coming out and cruising it. Not saying we will do the same but a couple of changes could make a big difference for us and it only takes one moment to get us level.

COME ON YELLOWS!!!
Chelsea look a different animal to us and we don't have someone in red hot form like Costa plus they were at home and are a lot more solid defensively than us (barring that Everton game!).

A bit of sense being spoken...

Former Wales international Robbie Savage
BBC Radio 5 live's 606 phone-in
West Ham 2-1 Liverpool

"Brendan Rodgers finished second in the Premier League, putting Liverpool back in the Champions League, then had to sell his best player, and needed to rebuild the squad for Champions League football.
"He has admitted they are not firing on all cylinders, but it will take a while for the players to get to know each other. Plus they are missing Daniel Sturridge as well, which is huge."

Had a dream that Lallana scored a late winner. Dunno who it was against like.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
