Looked better walking off than he did during the last 5. To be fair, none of the inuries were from fouls. Expect to play 30 - 40 mins with 10 men though.

Excellent first half. Pride. Passion. Committment. Wonder where it was on Tuesday?

Stunning goals also.

God knows. But it wasn't there Wednesday either!

Kick us out of the league more like! This can't be coincidence. I've never seen anything like it - only consolation is that the ref just has to send at least one of them off with the tackles (I use the term in a rugby sense!) they're putting in.

Next injury on the list, I'll pick Nunez as well.
With luck, we'll be able to survive with 2 goals with 9 men.

Tomorrow's headline would be : Everton humbled by 9 men Liverpool.

Well done the walking wounded - great result from the RIverside too.

Just need Morro/Didi/Warnock to get up and declare themselves fit now

We're concentrating our attacks very much on the right side, I think Rafa has identified Pistone as a weakness and so far it is working well, Pistone has been exposed time and again for lack of pace and mobility.

We cannot them back into the game.

Hopefully Luis will be ok and able to at least get back out and help close the spaces. Everton will have to make changes and try to attack more which should give us chances to counterattack with Milan and Nunez. Still, we have to park it in front of goal now. What I fear is that Everton players would try and kick Luis out of the game, knowing well that we need him for the rest of the season. Hey, whoever they manage to kick out of our players can't threaten their fight for the 4th spot. Maybe I'm seeing it too pessimistic, but I can't help it.

Get your boots on lads, I heard there are some spaces to be filled on the Liverpool bench.

Fucking hell. By the time we get to May, we'll have Welsh as captain lifting the Champions League trophy, live telecast from a private hospital.

I would like to see our players start to go down a bit more easily under any remotely suspect looking challenges in the second half in order to nudge a few of their idiots towards an early bath - It wouldn't surprise me if Rafa imparts such advice at HT. Whilst I wouldn't usually condone it, when you're up against a team of thuggish footballing philistines you have to have some tricks of your own.
