A Google search confirmed that there have been transport strikes in Milan going back a few months.

I have just asked in my hostel. The lad on reception can speak reasonable English but communication was not the greatest and I had to describe what a strike is.

Anyway, he confirmed that there was a strike tomorrow, Tuesday. He added that autobus would still run but only every hour from San Siro. He thinks a lot of trains will still run though 

ATM Milano Twitter has been replying to everyone asking about Tuesday’s strike saying their services won’t be affected. As far as I can find it seems the strike action is for Tuesday hopefully

The club have sent out a communication to lead bookers that we should travel to the ground via public transport. I am guessing that this is because LFC have highlighted the fact that the collection point hotel is only a 25 minute walk to the ground. If their nutters have got wind of this ….

Glad I didnt go... would have been just arriving in Bergamo now, ticket collection put me off because I wanted a buffer for delayed travel, would have just been getting on a bus at Bergamo to town now because the flight was on time, be tight for making kick off after the bus and metro journey to the hotel!

Could’ve just fucking emailed them. All in all took over 3 1/2 hours out of my trip (travel out of the way etc) . Really fucked off by the whole thing.  Boys saved it on 75 minutes, but we need to have a word with the club about what a shit show this was.

sounds like it a total mess but I'm still arsed about missing it even with the calamity at the hotel, think hard long look at how Inter and Italian clubs in general do buisness is needed

Metro was empty just after midnight from Lotto on the Red line back towards Central...unlike the December trip when it was a bit of a bundle to get the last Metro back...smaller capacity I know..Inter fans had properly left the area

They were given sheets with codes to get in later on. Also the Italians cheated with the allocation by giving us 2200 on the basis of 50% but on the day they allowed 75% capacity. So they could of given us another 1000 tickets. Tossers

That's not new they've always had names on tickets it's nothing new for them. They gave out to a lot of people sheets of paper with QR codes not actual tickets. As for official uefa fugures I have no doubt that they would announce 37k as previously agreed. I trust my eyes...that was a lot more than half full stadium....a lot more.

It wasnt 75%, it was definitily 50%. I took pictures from the match against Ac and from last night and you can tell, there were less people last night
