Disgraceful officiating yet again.

This will be the greatest title triumph of all time when we win it. Really have played against the opposition and officials every game.

Can we have another VAR review for the pen after the final whistle or does that only apply to Man United?  ::)

Second half was brilliant.  We had the chances and that should've been a pen at the end.  Interested to see how Arsenal get on against them now, think they'll be more confident after seeing how City didn't fancy it once the intensity was ramped up.

Should have won that.

Disappointed when Gakpo came on. What does he offer? He was awol as ever and I can't fathom why Nunez was taken off. It nullified our attack.

Agree about Gakpo, he's not at the level required and the drop off is massive but Nunez was knackered and you can't run players into the ground.

We can easily go unbeaten & I think these lucky cheating bastards will beat Legohead.
that's the result we want, I guess a draw would be better. We can definitely go unbeaten though and possibly win out too

His foot is in a natural position, for a UFC fighter.

Anywhere else on the pitch then that’s a foul. In fact if Mac Allister tried to head it then it could have been red. However inside the penalty area there seems to be different thresholds for fouls.

Meh... okay-ish result considering we had Quansah and Keevin in defense.

Now, we need a draw in the Arsenal/City match and to win against United.

Let's face it, we battered them in that second half and we just weren't clinical enough. Diaz played his heart out and was unlucky with those two chances. Wasn't a fan of Salah being played out wide with Cody in the middle, but we move. We might have to win every remaining game now. Do I think we will? Nope, but we'll try.

After being outplayed in the first half I thought we turned the tables and absolutely bossed the second and then completely outplayed them. We were never going to get another pen against these even if one of our players was shot, were we?

It's one of those where you'd feel disappointed not to have won but would have taken a draw after 30 minutes based on how things were turning out.

We weren't outplayed in the first half, they had a strong 10 mins to start and then we were the better side for the whole game afterwards.

You would've taken a one nil loss before the game, you're pathetic.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

They will in their next league game.

Really proud of that performance from lads, best we’ve played in midfield in possession against them in recent memory. Mac and Elliott made all difference there.

Get Salah and Dom sharp, trent back for Brighton … go on one last run.

Feels like a loss (notwithstanding their twice hitting the ‘woodwork’) and yet, am so chuffed and proud. Diaz had an amazing game - that utter c*nt Walker tried to bully him all game, yet he kept coming back for more - amazing desire and energy; pity the same can’t be said for his finishing.

The midfield trio that finished the game were terrific - wee Harvey’s got some engine, and the other two were immense given their minutes lately.

Big Virgil was imperious - the best defender I’ve ever seen in my life and I’m old. Robbo’s decline is sad to see, and Mo seems equally a shadow of his former self. I’m hoping it’s rustiness for both; time will tell.

excellent by the lads. Can't really fault that.
We did not lose, but we should have won. fantastic engery from Diaz, who ran with pace till the end. Unfortunately, as with others, just not clinical enough at crucial times.
Let the pressure be on Arsenal, who have yet to go to city. the'll have a nose bleed, and we'll nick it at the end..

Fantastic game really. They were excellent for 10 minutes but after that quite even first half and we absolutely bossed the second. Shame we couldn't get the winner but absolute machine this squad. Fantastic effort. Can't really fault anyone.

Understandable if Nunez was tired to be fair.

But, wow, Gakpo. What an utter waste of money. Did literally nothing and continues to do absolutely nothing. Should have put the kid Danns on instead.
