Proud of the lads. No idea how we didn't win cause we were far the better team I thought overall. City did well in the first half but thought we dominated it largely in the 2nd.

To play that well and not win is bittersweet though. Diaz was a man possessed but has to score that one on one

Really, really proud of this team. I think we’ve given City a point and Arsenal 2 points there, they were there for the taking. But at the same time we had 2 youth team graduates at the back, a backup GK, a backup 6 and Elliot in the front 3. And we just gave City a nightmare of a 2nd half.

Absolutely no idea on the non penalty call on Mac Allister there at the end. They just make this stuff up as they go. Incompetence of the highest level. A complete abdication of duty.

There is no excuse for us to win every premier league game now because players are coming back and we're not playing City or Arsenal.

Fucking robbed by PGMOL AGAIN!! Played them off the park for good parts of that second half, but Jesus Fucking Christ I'm sick of this shit. Penalty aside, Diaz should have probably scored at least one of his chances, though he did have a great game overall. Shame too that we were down to ten men with Darwin going off.

Our quick young lineup playing the best Grocks in the world to a standoff, and moving into a tie for 1st without further injury.

Maybe even knocking out their gk for a while.

I said it in the pre match thread that we would normally have a strong bench and we would bring on fresh legs and win. Some of the players have had to play more minutes than they should due to injuries. I thought Quansah, Kelleher and Bradley were excellent. Mac Allister was the best player on the pitch again and Virgil and Diaz were great. Pity Mo was so rusty. Endo did well.
