Drunker Than I Was - Big Bad Bollocks
Theres a new series of Stephen Merchants The Outlaws next week. Bit surprised as I thought it ended pretty well last time.
Unfortunately i remember the days of Man Utd's away kit being white shirt black shorts. I'd rather we didn't copy them. They copied us.
Those are good points and I wish it was that straightforward. I don’t get why there isn’t more pressure to kick them out or at least mitigate the messages. Sky actually seem very reluctant to touch the 115, probably for some legal clause or because it risks tarnishing the whole thing. So instead they wax lyrical about City and Pep’s unbelievable achievements without important caveats. For whatever reasons, it seems these sportswashing projects have their grubby influence all over Sky and BT as well.
What’s for sure, they are all digging a deeper and deeper hole that The Premier League and Sky/BT/MSM (by logic) shouldn’t be wanting. Let’s see where the pressure comes from. It will be needed or the “best” solution for all those parties is a whitewash.
I wasnt going to bother with the cup final as it will be a media wank fest whoever wins it especially if the red mancs win or ADFC really batter them. Ive changed my mind now though just in case Ten Hag does something really funny.
If I was Ten Hag theres no way I would quit now and lose any money. I would start the final with 11 shite players (first 11 obviously) then do weird subs like as soon as one of them cocks up (Like Garnacho running fast with the ball then giving it away at the end) taking him off for a full back or someone worse if thats possible. Subbing the subs would be funny too then at the final whistle turn to the big noise seats and give them the finger before walking off. Then sit back and wait for the bank transfer and once that was deposited tell the world what a clusterfuck of a club they were.
As a one-off question about Corbyn, why isn't WAP right on his point though.
(and I don't want to turn it to a Corbyn thread for the next few days)
See I think he's actually one of the managers that likes the media the most. Maybe not likes but one of the happiest to talk and most comfortable in front of a microphone. Just the questions they ask can be so fucking stupid and obviously some of the stories too. He would always do his best to sincerely answer questions in depth. Inevitable it grinds someone down after that long though. I always thought it was worse for someone like him who is happy to talk and go into detail but gets asked such shite!
Great to see him posting on Instagram even if it feels so strange seeing it!
So Pep was considered for the top job.
