Always an Arsenal type player for me - as shown by his love of social media. Thought he put in a lot of half arsed performances in the last two years. Plus didn’t like the way he blanked Jurgen after the guard of honour.

It’s one of my bug bears of the modern game, standing ovations for average players who give average performances.

Leave the adulteration to real LFC heroes like Bobby and Milly.

Tell me that in the Black Phoenix from 2pm on Sunday. I’ve been watching the Reds for 50 years  and don’t need no marks like you questioning my allegiance.. Will get off  this forum as it seems a happy clappy Kopworld , Echo extension which seems to find deviance a bit hard to take..

And yes, Oxade and Keita didn't deserve the guard of honour which Bobby and Milly so deserved.

Deserve, lol. Who knows what anyone deserves? If we all went through life only getting what we deserved a lot of us, I  myself very much included, would be in a pretty poor state.

Treating our departing players with courtesy and generosity and support isn't as much about them, as it is about us. It doesn't so much say anything about them as it does about us, as a fanbase.

I'm glad we showed up well

Ox was good when fit, he didn't set the team on fire but "that" goal in the CL will be remembered long into the future. Had some solid performances in his time here, last couple of seasons, not so much of course.

I know nothing of him blanking Klopp, but he always seemed sound and proud to be wearing the shirt. Cant ask too much more from a player.

I think he suffered when asked to fulfil a more complete midfielder role and some of his indiscipline positionally and tactically did come out. That being said, he also got moved around the pitch a fair bit and didn't have consistency of selection so it was pretty hard to get into form, and when we saw him get a run of games, he wasn't at all bad. I think as an attacking midfielder, he still has something to offer to a club with lower expectations and hopefully he can smash a few more goals in, just not against us. If you look at his finish for the goals he did score, some of them are sublime. Good luck to him!

I honestly don't think that he did & even if he did I doubt it was intentional, he had his kid with him so he was his main focus.

He's a good lad, always came across as a really good professional and a brilliant character to have around the place.
Gutted when he picked up that first knee injury, was just getting into his stride and looked like he was on course to cement a place in the team.
Best of luck to him.
Never seen him playing I think. But looks like a good player.

Nice one Ox.

What a player he was before that injury, such a shame it happened as he just gave us something different in that midfield. He’d still be a more than useful squad player these days had that not happened as well I’d have thought.

All the best, except when you play the Reds.

Class from Ox.

Class act from the Ox, always backed him when he was getting pelters for being injured.  Hope he finds a new team soon and gets over his injury issues.  Did his best for us, but those injuries really took it out of him.  Leaves with a nice medal haul as well.

As has been said. That injury was a devastating one. He was starting to become a lynchpin in the team and it would have been wonderful to see him progress into his prime. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. He will forever be remembered for being part of the squad that brought home No.19.
