Djokovic loses the second set at the Australian open. 1-1.
94 Corner to us. Last kick. Ali in the box and he’s scored

Got out of jail in typical Djokovic fashion. But he is looking slow and out of form. Could easily end up a five setter if the young Croatian keeps up his level.

Yes, not a convincing start. Maybe he’s just warming up.

Djokovic's achievements are phenomenal. There's no doubt there. His longevity too. But I just find his matches so boring now (he was interesting 10 years ago). I switched off after a few games today. It's amazing how he doesn't tire of his robotic tennis after all these years. Maybe, if he never took up tennis, he would have worked in a factory fitting the same screw in a microwave day after day.
We aren't walking through the storm now - we are the storm.

Always happens out there doesn’t it? They have an evening session under the lights. Think it is midnight there which is probably slightly ridiculous!

I thought they changed the rules.

It seems ridiculous to be playing at this time.

No Nadal at Australian Open is disappointing to say the least.

He's got his super retirement fund locked in.

McEnroe shares his thoughts on it.

Quote
McEnroe called the potential move ‘laughable’ given the nation’s questionable treatment of women.

“It wouldn’t shock me,” McEnroe told ESPN.

“Let’s put it this way: money talks. ‘Oh, no, I wouldn’t do that. How much was I offered? On second thought maybe I will do that.’

McEnroe said he disagreed with Saudi Arabia hosting tennis events.

“Personally, I disagree with it completely, with the golf and the tennis,” McEnroe said.

“The ladies are going to play the WTA Finals there? Are you kidding me?

“Because they treat women so well? That part is to me laughable.

“At the same time, which is also laughable, is the people that can criticise tennis players or golfers for doing something that virtually every business and the government do, which is deal with Saudi Arabia.

“This idea that tennis players have to set the moral standard, or golfers for that matter, when they’re all making the money, it’s a total joke as far as I’m concerned. We’ll see what happens.”
And all the world is football shaped, It's just for me to kick in space. And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste.

Be disappointing if Nadal does something like that.

Alcaraz currently hammering Gasquet after a close first set that Alcaraz won on tie break.

Raducanu did great to win a slam but her body is fragile and weak compared to the very top players like Iga or Aryna Sabalenka and that's why I'll be stunned if she ever reached the heights she did at USO 2021 ever again.

She was really good at Wimbledon 2021 as well, it wasn't just one golden run at the US Open. But she burns through coaches, has already had some serious surgery, and often seems to get physically ill during matches. It's a strange one.

Disappointing 5th set tie break from Norrie to lose to Zverev.

Norrie was getting no free points in their set at all.

Zverev has a monster serve too so was always going to be an uphill battle.

Sinner wins in 3. Still hasn't dropped a set this tournament, plays Dkokovic in the semis.
Poor Rublev has now gone 0-10 in GS quarter finals. Went 5-1 up in the 2nd set tie-break and Sinner won the next 6 points.
