The Spanish have a phrase which translates as 'the curve of happiness' to describe this phenomenon- the 'rounding' effect of a contented, stable life. Rather nice, I always think.

Couples may go out to restaurants for meals more often.

Women may do less exercise when they are in a relationship, skipping a trip to the gym to spend quality time with their partner.

Up here in Jockland we call it "The Fat Bastard" phenomenon  ;)
If Kenny Dalglish had simply played football for Liverpool he would be an Anfield hero. However, the fact that he managed the club to even greater success guarantees him the status of a legend.

Yeah, pauline quirke was 120lb's before she got married.

Fuck off.
When your Mum used to pick you up from school and you'd run out and be like 'Mummy I got 9/10 in the spelling test today', would she go 'phenomenal, son'.

Cos if she did she's a stupid fuck.

I find men make me lose weight not gain it.  Ive lost a few punds that i really couldnt afford to lose lately because of stress over men.  But i agree with the statement they are bad for you wholeheartedly.
