Someone's in Halls ;D

Get the 699 to the end of Smithdown where it joins Upper Parliament Street and get off there. Then catch the 26/27 to Anfield (it runs across the top of Smithdown where all the traffic lights at the junction are.) You'll want a bus stop on the left hand side of the road.

or walk past the Brookhouse to the junction of Smithdown and Ullet (2nd stop - outside the Vine(?) pub) and get the 60 as desribed by Murf, more walking but just one bus.

arriva's website says the 68 starts at aigburth vale so should i just walk to aigburth road. otherwise since its a sunday, should i just head into town to get regular matchday service?
ta

edit: .tv says
"Take a 26 (or 27) from Paradise St. Bus Station or a 17B, 17C, 17D, or 217 from Queen Square bus station directly to the ground. The 68 and 168 which operate between Bootle and Aigburth and the 14 (from Queen Square) and 19 stop a short walk away. "

so might bus into parliament street and make my way to paradise st.

Yeah the 68 is the bus I get, fucking bane of my matchday, takes ages and sometimes never comes. Like on Wednesday, luckily, 4 other lads waiting there at the bus stop so we got a cab.

It never left Bootle, that's why! I was waiting in the bus station trying to get home from work - before I could even think about leaving for Anfield - and they missed at least two out. Then the next one only went as far as Old Swan AND went on a big detour, missing out the whole of County Road and went straight from Walton Church down the drive to Utting Ave! Crazy! Never gets any better.  >:(

classycarra - the 68 leaves Aigburth Vale and goes up around Sefton Park (across the bottom of Elmswood Road and along Victoria Road), along the first bit of Queen's Drive (half way betwen between Carnatic & Greenbank if you're in halls), under the railway bridge and then along Dovedale Road to Rose Lane, past Tesco, along Allerton Road and up by the 62/92 terminus as Murf said. Take your pick of stops! Takes about 35-45 mins - don't be concerned that you go everywhere, it's even worse on a Sunday - takes in Broad Green Hosp and at one point you end up on the start of the M62!! ;D You will get there - just allow a lot of time as they have been known to miss one or two buses out, on the odd occasion! ;) I'd get the 1412 from the Vale to be safe 2moro at the latest, get out by the Vernon Sangster/Stanley Park. They are 12 & 42 mins past the hour from the Vale.

She keeps getting texts off him saying "Oh please take me back, I love you and I'm still not over you". We read them together naked and then we laugh about it. Then she blows me off.

No, just normal single decker buses - Arriva do Sundays too now. Used to be some other company that had little green buses for a while.

They still have a maximum fare when it's the 168 (evenings & Sundays) - think it might be about 90p thou now. It's a Merseytravel subsidised service or something.
