But Saph, this clashes with Arsenal shitting on the bitters!!

Will have to set the video. Love Uni challenge - my best mate Will was 1st reserve for Jesus college, Cambridge when they were on 3-4 years ago - he's very glad that he didn't make it into the team, they got 35 points!!!

Never, ever, ever thought I'd say that in polite company.

That's funny because my mate Jesus was once first reserve for Will College, Oxford!

Good win for Manchester.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Liverpool Uni, like the team, have a couple of stars and the rest are stocking fillers.

Bretherton is a waste on the left.

When I was in my final year a girl I dated briefly was on the New Hall team (now called Murray Edwards College) which is one of the women only colleges at Cambridge. They got about 25 points, I think it's the record low score (or it was then). We broke up shortly after. The shame of it...

I tried out for the St John's team but didn't make it, and then they lost in some preliminary round. F*ck 'em ;D

I'm not going to claim the first one but I am deeply offended re the other two. I am a twat though so I suppose it's fair comment.

As a posh, Northern privately educated twat I note the closest thing to a scouser on the Liverpool team was a lad from the Wirral. And we all know that doesn't count, right?

Still, on a scale of posh twat Jaroslav "Sky" Walker takes the biscuit, or whatever those posh twats eat..

I'd love them to have East Anglia Polytechnic on there one day. And one of the team be called Alan. :)

Although its called Anglia Ruskin University now which sounds altogether more sophisticated.

RIP

Paxman never quite done it for me since he took over the UC chair. Too sneeringly condescending for my liking.  Bamber on the other hand was great and managed the put downs with better humour
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain
