Trying to find a decent version of the Golden Green they used to do live with the extra verse or so to it.

Love Tutti Frutti, like a 1989 Ibiza New Order throwback.

I`ve been buying a lot of old cds that I may have missed or to replace vinyl/cassettes that i had.

The pick of the ones I got:

Pistol Annies - Interstate Gospel. Is it Nu-Country? Not sure.

The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Tepid Peppermint Wonderland.

The Warlocks - Surgery & Phoenix.

Those bands are closely related, if not incestuous. They wear their 60s inspirations on their sleeves; The Byrds, Velvets, Doors. Also sometimes a bit of Bowie or AC/DC.

CSNY - Deja Vu. Had never heard it all together, genuinely great album.
The best way to scare a Tory is to read and get rich” - Idles.

Old mate of mine played with Ozrics for a year or so. I rarely play them but in 1990 they were fucking huge ;D

The Yardbirds!

Love The Yardbirds, one of the very 1st 'Mod' albums I bought when I was 14. But it was all blues, this isnt like The Jam thought I. I was an idiot starting my musical journey of discovery. Now I think (whatever lineup) theyre the bees knees. (I think I prefer the Beck era, but to be honest theyre all brilliant)

I saw Ozrics a few times early 90's. I really liked them back then and hearing them brought back memories of the 24hr megadogs.

Went watching these late 80s or early 90s at some small football stadium in the Midlands - could it be Walsall? Actually the stadium in the video looks vaguely familiar.

Come to think of it, the fact that I can't actually remember which decade the event happened means I've no chance of remembering the actual venue, crazy days indeed!

“We're Only in It for the Money” by the Mothers of Invention. My dad is a big fan of comedy/satirical music, can remember him picking me up when I was very young from my mum’s and he would regularly have Zappa, Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, Half Man Half Biscuit on in the car. Brings back some great memories. Brilliant music too.

JC Satan. Been "talking" to / at them on Instagram and they're nice enough to reply thanks despite me probably coming across like a fucking fanboy idiot

So just bought one of their records on vinyl. Cause they cheered me up.  Feels good to support an artist you love, but who also, even if it's just over social media, acknowledges you exist

Beautiful album that has been so important to me over the last twelve months. One of the very best this decade in my opinion.

I’ve been listening to Yusef Lateef’s “Eastern Sounds” from 1964. Don’t know how to link songs but it’s a fantastic record, going to get it on vinyl when I have some spare money.

Morrissey. Gives me a deliciously shifty little frisson.

I swear this song was always on Chris Evans show on Radio One in the mornings when I was going to school in the Car.

Brilliant song.
"Since its purchase by the sheikh of Abu Dhabi, Manchester City has managed to cheat its way into the top echelon of European football and create a global, immensely profitable football empire, ignoring rules along the way. The club's newfound glory is rooted in lies."

It's a beautiful album. Illinoise is still regularly on my playlist too. Nice with Lateef.

"And the voices of the standing Kop still whispering in the wind will salute the wee Scots redman and he will still walk on.
And your money will have bought you nothing."
