In the workshop earlier this evening before the match, turning some valve carriers out of brass on my lathe for a water pump, as you do, and happened to catch Jo Whiley's current earworm on the radio, Exist For Love by Aurora.

Lush production, intelligent lyrics and song construction and a really interesting singing voice.

Her performance in the video, the hand movements, are very reminiscent of early Kate Bush and I find the whole thing slightly mesmerising.

Hard to make out exactly what's going on here ie is it all a joke, but once the tune and the sight of those backing dancers are in your head, it's unforgettable...

Yes, have only really got into this fairly recently, so have also been enjoying some of Sandy Denny's solo work. She was a great singer.

Yes - he did 3 or 4 home shows in total. I've been lucky enough to have seen him live a number of times and he's just amazing. Sadly, I never got to see Sandy.

Fairport are still going strong - they play a winter tour every January/ February. I saw them in Southport just before lockdown. They are such good musicians and all really nice blokes too. They always hang around after the show to chat etc.

Beat 106 app has never been off in the car and at work for the last few weeks EDM Trance music some cracking line ups they have if your into that sort of thing .

Beat 106 Scotland I think it comes under on app store . used to be a old radio station up here in the early 00s until Galaxy network took over and we have Capital.
