We've already got a 5 times banner which is proudly waved about every home game, jib that off, in fact jib all Utd related flags, makes us look obsessed and jealous in my opinion

Sadly true in a lot of cases. I cringe whenever I hear/see any of our supporters bang on about United & in the same breath they'll call Everton supporters bitters $:-\$

Indeed, in my opinion as of late we are the Everton of the rivalry, some of the drivel which comes out of our fans mouths is hilarious, particularly in the Premier League fixture threads, just a quick example is Utd winning Arsenal 8-2 and it was solely due to the fact Arsenal were shite and had most of their players out,

or when they win again its nothing to do with the fact they won because they're good, its always the opposition letting them win, not giving 100%, etc..., I hope it stops soon as we do come across as very bitter to other fans when it comes to us and Yernited, ah well though, fuck 'em, s'pose.

Totally hypocritical.

Up until last season we were pretty good at measuring by numbers on a regular basis, shoving the numbers 18 and 5 down their throats without a second thought.

Any retort now to their inevitable "19" taunts are gonna make us look bitter.

And all these proposed 'ideas' shown on here are EXACTLY what they are going to want to see. ie US being bothered by their 19 and coming out with crap replies.

My suggestion would be to ignore them altogether, sing our songs about US and carry on as usual KNOWING that we are still the most decorated club in England without feeling the need to prove it to that shower just because of last season.

Think about it. They've waited fucking decades to get to this. Imagine if in 3, 4 or even 5 years it reverts back? Now will seem like a blip. And we should treat it as such by not going overboard defending ourselves right now.

There's a thread on caferouge about RAWK that takes the piss out of our obsession and attitude. It reminds me very much of an old section titled 'Manc Watch' which used to appear in a printed fanzine from the late 80's/early 90's called 'Through The Wind And Rain". Oh how we used to chuckle at them back then. Hadn't won the league in 20+ years, were jealous as fuk of us but still thought they were higher and mightier than everybody.
