Thats assuming he plays a standard 442 on this occasion.

With the lack of a right midfielder i suspect we may play something like a 4312 instead

Subs ... Kirkland, Baros, Finnan/Josemi, Diao, Welsh.

Kewell to have a fluid linking role. Stevie G and Riise can certainly play as wide men if and when
needed.  They can both defend and they can both get forward and get crosses in. The defense,
(Going on Josemi's Debut) looks solid and as far as i know Graz dont have any electric pace up
front to scare Sami and Stephane. Actually that looks like a pretty decent team for an away game
to me when you consider our midfield (Hopefully temporary) weakness.

I sincerly hope LFC haven't forgotten this. Some of the team news I've seen has Biscan in the squad. Benitez probably won't be aware of it, Parry clearly has other things to worry about and I seriously doubt Igor will remember.

With Igor out, Smicer Injured et al, we are thin for talent. Knowing Rafa for all of the few weeks i have, he is not the sort to play people out of position, and not afraid to play youngsters.

I suspect the team will be

Josemi - Hyypia - Henchoz - Riise


Gerrard - Hamann - Diao - Kewell

Owen - Ciise

Possibly with Kewell more advanced and three central midfielders, and the full backs providing any width. I can not see Rafa going all out attack, because we are weakened, and to be fair a draw will do.
