Weird game, it's like game 38 and both stay up with a draw. Horrific.

Makes me appreciate what we have even more.

Both teams look scared to lose.

Villa don't give a damn and will play their normal game against City.

Do we think Ben White’s got a sunlamp?

He doesn’t look the right tone for a sun bed tan, I’d say it’s a spray tan, he went from looking relatively normal to very brown quickly at the start of the season. No one tans that quick

Rice is brilliant at fighting fires. Covers ground so quickly. Both teams looks setup to get a point here though. City in particular have 2 6s on the pitch.
I'm only watching it in the background but everytime I look up it seems to be showing a different Man City central defender.  Did Man City start with four central defenders - Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol and Ake??

Yeah this is a worry I have with a new manager given how top level football seems to want to go to boring possession. So grim to watch.

Only thing of consequence was Ake getting injured. Now we need an Arsenal defender to be crocked to even things up. I nominate Gabriel.

Both teams look terrified of each other. You would hope the game opens up a little bit more in the second half to actually allow some football to be played. Although I'd take 0-0.

Yes. Not unusual I don’t think although I don’t watch them too often. But what is wild is they’re using their fullbacks (the players playing fullback at least) high and wide in possession so their worst ball players are getting it loads. That’s different from the tactic of keeping their wide forwards high and wide which they often utilise.

I agree, Jota will be huge.

I mean, if the second half is going to be of a similar quality, then Sky could do worse than just cutting the feed and airing the Battle of the Bastards instead.

No one should be surprised this is a shit game. The one earlier in the season was the exact same. Both sides played for 0-0 then as well, and Arsenal won it by accident with a massive deflection from outside the box.

It's debatable whether we're the best side in the league, but we are by an absolute country mile most exciting.
