He’s never had a convincing finish on him, scuffs shots consistently throughout his career.
totally baffling why he was given the ball for the pen.

Agreed. Surely it would be more helpful for the officials if there's more of a contrast. For example, if they're judging a marginal offside or a handball between two players.

You two need to sort the contrast on your tellies.

With Palmer in form he is in, yeah.

Laughable shout they get rid of Sterling this summer - I’m sure they’d love to, but no is spending a decent fee and matching his wages. He started so young, he’s well within post-peak now.

Just watching the Chelsea - Leicester game.

How is that combination of kits allowed? Yes it IS a different colour to the Chelsea home kit but is it really different enough?
When we play West Ham, Burnley or Aston Villa, we can't play in red, but I'd argue that the contrast of claret (with the blue and/or white) to red is, if anything, more distinctive than blue and very dark blue (or is it black?) with light blue flashes.

Annoys me so often. It’s like they go ‘just wear whatever is your second kit’, instead of actually thinking about the contrast.

He's a strange player in general. Defintely more than the sum of his parts because, as you allude to, he's never been a very tidy player. Also weirdly disliked by City fans for some reason, not very popular at Chelsea, and I think the feelings of most Liverpool fans for him probably range from hatred to total indifference.

He's scored a lot of goals, always played at a top level and won more trophies than a lot of players could ever hope for, and yet I suspect he'll retire wondering what might have been.

What use are Leicester? You'd think they'd be interested today it's not as if Chelsea are great at the moment. But obviously the FA Cup is too small for them.  ::)

The most Man City pull back goal you will see outside of a City game, made and converted by two ex City players.

They’re literally getting promoted to join the relegation fight next season again. Useless clubs keeping Everton in the top division

"I think he's slipping there" - Martin Keown comments on a player very, very obviously slipping. Reminds me of Lee Dixon's pearl of wisdom "If that goes in the net, that's a goal".
