Just has the feeling of one of those matches where we waste opportunity after opportunity and then we'll have to scramble at the end for a point.  Luton away feel to it.

Too many attacking players not on it.  Only Jones and Diaz look capable of anything positive from the front.  The back four plus Endo have been solid.
Szobo, Salah, Nunez have been dreadful.  Mo's already in Africa in his head it seems.

Get Jota, Gakpo, Elliott on for those three and I'll be more encouraged.
Again, should be three points for us, but at this point, I'll be happy if we can scrape one from it.  :(

I was going to also say I thought Taylor actually was the best I've seen him.  Until he friggin' lost his head in the final five minutes and nearly cost us.  Laughable that Lucho and TAA are on yellows considering the way so many of our guys got hacked down with no punishment in the final minutes.

Put Jota on for Nunez we can't afford another draw. The graphic that showed previous salah penalty conversion position was the same place that he hit it . That was soo predictable.  Trent needs to reign in Hollywood balls even van djik was shouting at him the last attempted pass with the left foot was diabolical.
Again PUT JOTA ON CAN'T WAIT FOR ANY MORE MISSED OPPORTUNITIES.

Excellent and poor in equal measures. Nunez and Salah were poor. Nunez needs to learn how to stay onside; Salah’s passing and tackling were poor.

VVD and Gomez were excellent.

The less said about some of the refereeing decisions the better.

We need to calm down otherwise somebody will be sent off. We were the much better side and need to just keep pinging the ball around and we’ll score.
Agreed.

Imagine this team with Haaland in.

We need a fundamental re-think at No. 9. In the meantime get Jota or Gakpo on.

We've rejigged the entire frontline to accommodate a striker who can't hit a barn door.

Positives
+clearly the better team
+not behind

Negatives
-Nunez and Szobozlai haven’t got much attacking threat in them for 150m
-Salahs pens
-umpteen chances again yet we struggle
-ref is itching to send one of our players off

Trying not to overreact to this but based on what i’m seeing we’re a few short and currently not equipped to win this league.

Lets beat these Saudi fckers tho!

If we don’t win from here we only have ourselves to blame, should be miles out of sight but we’ve seen this movie before haven’t we?! Still plenty of time and still quietly confident but echo the thoughts of others it’s massively infuriating the amount of clear chances we’ve been missing against shit bag teams recently

Same issues in front of goal. Seriously needs resolving as it’s now the 4th league match in a row that we’ve seen this, admittedly we won one of them.

Sooner we're out of this league the better.

PGMOL, Sky TV, Gary Neville, Manc Mafia, VAR, state owned clubs. All of it, it's shit.

Atleast we got a pen though even though it looked like Diaz sort of dived for it.

Salah is like Owen was on penalties. 4 misses in 10 is nowhere near good enough. And what can you say about Nunez? You never expect him to score. Not good enough from a Liverpool Number 9, simple as.

4 misses in 10. Almost 50/50. Please give the penalties to someone who is more consistent.

Our penalty was a cast-iron one. I’m not sure how Neville expects Diaz to stay on his feet when his left foot is taken away from him……plus there was no delay when he went down. His left foot taken away which means he lands on the edge of his right foot and loses his footing. Of course Neville claims it was a dive yet says nothing about the three or four dives from Newcastle players.

Yep, not quite sure why the ref is getting so much grief bar not carding Joeliton what has he done wrong? Trent kicked the ball away, Diaz showed dissent, school boy level losing your head moments, and its all of our own doing, we should be 2-0 ahead and cruising.

You won't be asking that at full time.

We can't blame the ref when we miss clear cut chances that's on us, we have too many that are short on confidence in the starting line up and the ones in good form (Jota/Elliott) are both on the bench, so thats what I would change, our approach play/chance creation has been very good but you need composure to pick the right pass/right finish and thats been missing

18-1 shots. don't remember theirs.

Surely we must grab a couple. WHO i mean literally id like a name WHO names Taylor ref and Tierney VAR. Taylor gave us the pen because he couldn't not and then even Tierney after 10 mins couldnt find a way to rule it out, bad luck for the refs. Other than that they are in great form, Taylor with his classic play ons and non call and blow ups and dissent yellows like an orchestra conductor that guy.

13 on 11 but we'll have them anyway np

Feels like another game we will bottle. We can’t complain about the oil barrons when we can’t even beat a B side Man U squad and can’t score against a poor Newcastle team that struggles away.

Trent, Salah and Dom has been poor. Endo and Diaz though been great.

Yeah because with one defeat in 30 games (and only because of VAR corruption) we are massive bottlers

Yeah think we need to have a serious conversation about Nunez in the summer. Really not good enough, I'm never confident when he's through on goal and that's not the kind of feeling a number 9 should give off. Hate to say it because I love the guy but he's not up to par for a number 9 for this club.

Dom needs to be benched, been absolutely terrible since the international break. Hoping the upcoming winter break breaks his bad form.

Shit finishing! Hopeless finishing! Dont know how we can be so terrible in front of the goal. The penalty, utter crap. We are worse at finishing than the ref is at refereeing and keeping a hold of the game. He is seriously an utter moron. After he didnt give the yellow to Joelinton he completely lost it. Then proceeded to let Joelinton continue have a free game from yellows. He will probably card him in the 89th minute after comitting another 5 fouls that all deserve a yellow. Did he suddenly in the middle of the game get a message that he had a brown envelope waiting?

Othet than the finishing we have been really good. Very good press in the first half, only a few times we oversold which gave them an opportunity to attack. Still need to be better, and we need to put that goal. Jota and Gakpo should help with that part, the others seem unable.

Extremely frustrating watch. I've become a lot more calm watching Liverpool over the years, but my blood's boiling watching that. Ref being a c*nt as usual, but we're again failing in the final third. Shocking waste of chances.

Oh, and only Liverpool-players get booked for kicking the ball away. Dier literally booted it into the stands yesterday without any consequence. Agree it should be punished, but as always, there is no consistency.
