No I meant norm for the 90 minutes (one of those nights), where anything the lad tries wouldn't come off. Thankfully though that wasn't the case. He's generally sound though.

Yes he was rightly rested. We have Jones and Elliott who are brilliant replacements if needed and will keep the other midfielders focused on top quality performances.

I did kind of miss it when Nunez was clearly onside from that through ball in the first half and got flagged immediately. With VAR, they'd have let him run.

agreed on the pressing, think the competition for places is much stronger than it's been for years, it's brilliant that they are putting pressure on the rest and giving the boss a headache

I've been quietly talking about this for a while, I reckon he'll break his duck this year. Even if he doesn't, he can quite happily slot in at right back for the rest of the season as far as I'm concerned. No need for any nonsense in the transfer market when we've already got Trent's replacement, because let's face it, he ain't gonna be a RB for much longer.
