That was such a cathartic moment when Salah finally put us ahead. That visceral chant of "Fuck off Tierney!" from all 4 sides of Anfield shows the crowd know who our real opponent is today.

Get another goal quickly and put this to bed - don't give Tierney any more opportunities to influence the outcome.

Ahh a load of "human errors" that all just happen to go against us for about the 9th game this season, stonewall pen not given, a player of ours booked for fuck all, one of their could be off, nope, goal disallowed for fuck all. Sure we're just unlucky to be up against such "incompetence" though.

At least Nunez is gonna end up becoming the best attacker this league has ever seen.

Passing, positioning, decision and work rate making from Nunez is absolutely brilliant, his passing and link up play is so underrated.

Good value for the lead so far.

Really think there's a couple or occasions where we could of put them to the sword and hope we don't end up regretting it. Example was right at the end where Salah has to play a better ball and not one that is veering away from Nunez and it's 2-0 or he would get brought down and it's a red.

Looking good going forward. Nunez unlucky with the first offside goal. We need to be awake for their counter-attacks. A second goal is necessary and if we keep playing like this we will get it.

Seemed just a hair ahead of the pace for us, like speed of thought is there but the execution is a step behind. Great goal though really well setup.

The defense does seem a bit all over the place for some reason. Allison has to bail us out of trouble again.

Tierney is being himself of course so I don't see us getting anything and him influencing the second half.

But great game to watch. Much better than the last couple of games. Brentford is leaving a lot of space with their high line, not sure what they’re trying to do when they can hardly keep possession. But good for us anyway.
