Luton battering Wolves. Unlucky not to be up (after 20 mins)

That's the one i've gone with, Luton should defo be ahead.City game is the Spanish language game so i switched that off.

City will probably end up winning 32-33+ matches this season.

They dont even have their supposed best player and it barely seems to matter. I guess if you just assemble 15-18 very intelligent footballers who can play anywhere, the individual is almost irrelevant.

Abu Dhabi was never going to lose points to Forrest at home, come on. They are also going to keep winning the title, for obvious reasons.

I've also just realised Saudi are on TV again. Cannot make this shit up  ::)

FYI (taken from The Athletic)

*The club’s owner, Sheikh Mansour, is the vice president and deputy prime minister of the UAE. His half brother, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is the president of the UAE.

Sheikh Mansour is the majority shareholder in Manchester City via Newton Investment and Development, a company he wholly owns, which is registered in Abu Dhabi and possesses a majority shareholding in City Football Group (CFG).

As such, it would be legally inaccurate to describe City as state-owned, despite Sheikh Mansour’s prominent political positions in the UAE and Abu Dhabi, its capital.

Shame on me!

UK goverment will have no reason to stick their noses into the cheating charges against them then!

They don't have to be at their best or even look like they're trying. Bar 6-7 teams the league is rubbish.

I also guarantee you that Nottingham will put in more effort at Anfield than against City. City have created this aura about them where most teams are simply beaten before the match has even started. We currently don't possess that.

Still need the coach - hopefully Klopp can wait him out because at the moment the combination of him and resources is making it almost impossible for anyone else

They won’t cause I can’t see us losing many games either.

Looked again when we got 97 points. Won 30, Drew 7 and Lost 1 and people had the nerve to say too many draws cost us. In any normal season, 1 defeat and you should walk the league. Say we’d lost 3 and Drawn 5. 3 losses is acceptable and 5 draws certainly isn’t too many.

30 wins and it wasn’t enough. Wankers.

Red card for the Wolves player, but harsh since the Luton player was holding his leg stuck.

That Wolves player had a really good first half against us last week, now sent off at Luton in his next game!

They'll not get many better chances than this to get points on the board, will Luton.

They waved through Sheikh Mansour and then PIF (after the government intervened) and can't see any issues if the Qatari guy buys Man Utd. They'll probably let China/North Korea/Russia buy someone unless the government thinks its too politically inconvenient.

It's sickening but it also feels like it's too late for anything to change.

Given that the majority of the City fans are new - they love this. Literally no knowledge of the history of the team, no self-awareness at all, etc.

Given the traffic problems around the Emptyhad, it would seem plenty of Abu Dhabi fans are disinterested.

I kinda felt that way last season when it was between them and Arsenal.  I have a lot of respect for Arsenal (their manager and some of their fans who post on opposition boards do my head in mind) but I wanted City to win it only because it's becoming the norm and I optimistically thought opposition fans would suddenly realise what an achievement it was when we won it (even though most of them cheered on City).  They didn't though, so fuck em.  I'm with you, if we don't win it, City being champions will eventually start to chisel away at 'The Brand'.

There is 0 jeopardy in 90% of their games - it’s pointless

I was dead certain this would translate to the players in the form of a malaise this year, having finally won the cl, but so far its just not happening. they need to encounter some adversity before they can even stumble.

it may be they have just too much depth. Any normal circumstance a let down would be inevitable. Just like us last year and myriad other examples down the years. its as natural as breathing in sport. You've got to keep your edge to stay on top, and winning multiple times dulls your edge and sharpens everyone else's. Its just that simple. Possibly city can win with a dull edge because they are a fucking sledgehammer. idk.

Well the Prem better look to their product because it currently sucks. If it wasn't for Jurgen Klopp it'd be 7 in a row without anybody laying a hand on them in that time, and somehow without even being an exciting team. Currently it is pointless.

Anwonyi and Origi need to save football in the second half.  ;D  Just the lads for the job.
