Exactly. I don't get the idea of seeing if he can play on or not. Like last week with Romero, if you have a concussion, then you should be getting immediately subbed off.

Trouble is Jill, when your players are as bad as Everton, it’s hard to tell if it’s concussion or incompetence

Concussion sub apparently

Surely that sub needs to be made pretty much immediately to count as a concussion sub? If it turns out he is concussed and has stayed on, the medical staff and Everton coaches need a bit of a slap.

Not this time, Jill, I think. There's only so many seasons a club can get by hoping there's three worse teams in the league.

In any top side, Pickford would be considered a decent shot stopper with a lot of question marks around his attitude and decision-making. For Everton? He's easily their best player.

A crocked Calvert Lewin/Maupay and possibly Che Adams with nothing in the way of goals from out wide or the middle. A worse defence this season too and the midfield is the same. Just need a couple of sides at the bottom to play gung ho football or something that might allow them 9 or 10 wins because I can't see this Everton side winning more games than they did last season which I think might have been 8.
