Now that tw@t Anthony scored - time to watch something else, I think.  >:(

Why on earth were you watching a Man Utd friendly in the first place?
Sit down, shock is better taken with bent knees.

People think our business has been bad, they've signed a worse goalkeeper, a shit Adam Lallana, and a completely unproven striker for megabucks because they hope he's another Haaland.

This lot are going absolutely fucking nowhere.

You underestimate the power of the help they will get match after match.

They're not good at all, we had a fucking horrendous season and still we more or less equalled their league position, and destroyed them at Anfield, do they really have a single player that would get into our 11?, Casemiro probably simply because we don't currently have a player for that position.

United fans doing their best not to blame Onana. He is SO far out he had no chance of getting back. Yes Dalot made a shit pass but that will happen, he's about 35 yards away from goal!

United really are assembling a group of crooked/gnarly players and seems like they will try to play dogs of war stuff.
Bruno, Martinez, Garnacho, Casmiro, Anthony. All hard to like. Think that goalie will be similar. Then there’s slabhead and Greenwood to maybe come back in. Nice bunch.

 If United play Greenwood it will bite them on the arse big time … will be the Goodwillie thing in Scotland on steroids.  I think they will sell him abroad with a sell on clause. Be a good candidate to go to Saudi really … suit him over there.

Unfortunately it won’t be. Rightly or wrongly, greenwood wasn’t convicted. People have heard the videos etc and know the truth, but he’s young, English, back with the ‘accuser’ with a family on the way

Some strong PR and it’ll be swept under the rug eventually

Say nothing of the fact that his horrible team mates believe he deserves a “second chance.” It makes me wonder how bad you have to be to be told to leave the football club.

Wait til they start talking about his "redemption story" and how "he fought (pun not intended) from adversity to resurrect his career".

I cringe when Sky will show him on the touch line and say "what a heart warming tale" and "he's gone through so much adversity" (yeah HE'S the one);

Give it a couple of years and the Mancs will not even recall this happened. On the historical statistical sites - they will probably wash it away and calim the 1.5 years he was out (or however long) were for personal reasons - or worse - a long term injury (again no pun intended apparently).

Said this a week ago.

I already cannot be arsed with the inevitable tiresome “HAALAND VS HOJLUND” shite the media are going to be screaming everywhere in the run up to the Manc derby. Ones a robotic freak playing for a team with unlimited resource and supply. The other is a big money signing playing for a team nobody’s really expecting much from. Realistically if he scores 10/15 goals, or even less than 10 including a couple of meaningful ones, United fans will probably be satisfied.

The whole “Team Messi vs Team Ronaldo” shite has ruined footy. The discourse now is all about comparing player X and player Y, why can’t we just have standalone opinions and appreciate what’s there? Not that I appreciate anyone playing for either Manc club of course…

Jesus Varane has declared war on the FA and the PMGOL..

Raphaël Varane
@raphaelvarane
We had a meeting last week with the FA. They recommended from the referees new decisions and rules.

From the managers and players, we have shared our concerns for many years now that there are too many games, the schedule is overcrowded, and it’s at a dangerous level for players physical and mental well-being.

Despite our previous feedbacks, they have now recommended for next season: longer games, more intensity, and less emotions to be shown by players. We just want to be in good condition on the pitch to give 100% to our club and fans. Why are our opinions not being heard?

As a player I feel very privileged to do the job I love every day but I feel these changes are damaging our game. We want to be at our maximum level, the best we can be and put on amazing performances for fans to celebrate every week.

I believe it is important that we, players and managers, highlight these important issues as we want to protect the game we love and give the fans our best.

Fair play but that will backfire.

Oversaturate the schedule yet reduce the entertainment. It’s so clinical, they want a robotic, process driven product. The more they do shit like this, the less raw emotion and unpredictability you’ll see. As I’ve said above, Haaland is a robot and that’s what they want. Emotionless, clinical matches that can help feed the relentless talking and discussion.

They probably want to get to a point where the difference between a virtual match (think watching a game of fifa being played out) and an actual real match aren't too dissimilar - then they can literally control the outcomes... In all seriousness though i wouldn't put i past them.

Oh, and Utd are shite.

This is what Kloppo’s being saying for years, funny how he’s a big whinger according to Man Utd (and other) fanbases  ;D

Good for sure that a high profile player comes out and says it. Although I’d suggest one way Varane and his team mates at Manchester United could save a LOT of energy is to stop running after the referee every time he dares give a decison.  :P

Yeah if that was Virgil or Matip for sure he'd be screwed but being a United player im not so sure.

every captain of every team playing professional football needs to make this point at every opportunity.

the big problem with the players' argument is that time is often being added on because teams play shithouse timewasting for 90 minutes.  refs should be told to use yellows for that a lot more often, and not just in the last 5 minutes of the game.

a couple of sendings off after 2 yellows might start getting attention.
