Lively going forward and we'll hopefully score in the second half and somehow keep them out as we are truly horrendous defensively. Henderson gives us nothing when defending, Trent is not there half the time understandly given how we play, Matip slow and yeah, it's painful to watch.

It looks like he should save it in real time but the deflection leaves him with little chance. It might not have been a massive deflection but it was clearly enough to just give him no real chance.

Gakpo is always doing good things loving the way he's settled in now. The system is still to be worked on though too open at times.

Thought Jones was pretty decent. Had a positive impact on the game. Great foul on Bowen to stop a counter too.

Didn’t see their goal but apart from that we had a lot of possession. We’ve been generally good but Henderson and to a lesser extent, Jones, need to do more with the ball. Salah got so frustrated that he drifted into the middle and left a big space out on the wing.

VVD did well to Nick the ball away for a corner. However we defended it horribly.

More zip needed in midfield. I’d maybe bring on Diaz and stick him out on the right wing.

We need a bit more sharpness in the final third. So many players in limited space. The way through is individual skill and/or movement ans quicker passes. We will get our chances and we need to take them.

Played well, they’ve had a few dangerous moments but all of our own causing. Should really be ahead, Jota should have scored. Gakpo and Fabinho playing really well. We’re winning the ball back like we used to again which is great to see
