Yes, anything that reduces the 'dickheads with phones' element to the live show experience, will also stop youtube being flooded with low quality concert videos that don't really help.

Jack White was doing this when I last saw him tour. Was a pain as before he came on I had to go to the zone were you could access your phone to check the Liverpool score.
