Has anyone seen them at a stadium show this summer ?

Went to the Emirates. Was good apart from the fact they fucked the tickets. The whole lower tier and pitch was unreserved. So the whole pitch was absolutely rammed.

I think the quality of their music carries them but their live shows are bordering on boring

I disagree, think they almost always put on a great show.

Oh fuck.

I did find it mad that were headlining stadiums but after seeing this, I can why.

That’s a bit random. Do find his crooning over the last few years a bit jarring but they’ve never really sounded like the Killers have they?

But it’s good that they have switched their sound up rather than churning out the same old sound.

That Tranquility album is amazing.

And never sounded like The Killers.

Yh I've had some great times at their gigs. It's just the recent ones that are lacking. Their 2013 show at glastonbury was great.

I don't know what the Arctic Monkeys are doing to be honest. It's like a Fast Show Jazz Club version of what they used to be.
I now understand why there were so many tickets going on sale on Twickets last week.

I'm not a huge fan of either but comparing the Arctic Monkeys to The Killers seems bizarre - have the AMs changed that much? You can tell I really pay attention.

Yep saw them at Old Trafford. The set list is a bit an over the place which is why it’s getting mixed reaction. No songs off the first album…yet.

Here. Sculptures of Anything Goes is a really poor opener. It didn’t work at the start of the encore at the stadium gig either.

I’ve never really liked them but watching tonight that was the first thing that came to mind 😀. As for sounding like the Killers, agree they are not a patch on them!

Thank god for the Foo’s earlier.

The issue with them is their debut is so different to their latest record.

A lot of people just want the hits from that.

Watching on a bit of delay. Liking most of it (pretty tight band and Helders is a bit of a beast). I know they can’t just sing songs about going out when you’re about 18 anymore, but that was a great day-boo.
