Don’t forget he played for Porto, we’ll probably get 3 or 4 a game where we think he’s broken his leg when someone blows on him :D
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Good cameo with him getting an assist. The nickname "Lucho" fits him because it means "fighter" and he plays with a lot of intensity.

To be fair the defender did land on his knee, so wasn't like he was acting there.

He took a few bumps, particularly a pretty strong challenge in the air from behind, but he looks like he can cope eaily with the rough stuff.

Not sure if it was the same in the UK but here in Australia we had Jonathan Pearce commentating, who apparently finds it baffling that we spent £50m on Diaz when the last few times he's watched him he's been "awful". Bizarre bit of commentary when Diaz came on.

He looked really bright though. Fantastic work for Taki's goal.

Fuck me, the second he went down I thought he'd done his ACL and we'd have to wait a year to see our new signing back in action. I'm still scarred by Lucas's injury at Stamford Bridge all those years ago :D

Glad it was just an impact thing. Will be interesting to see if he starts from the off against Leicester - probably in place for Taki no?

home debut off the bat, assist off the bat, got a nice knock straight off the bat - kinda perfect in an odd sort of way, welcome to the league luis  8)

Looked the part in his short cameo today. Pressed well for the 2nd goal and didn't look out of place in a new team.

Early days, but looking like he'll gem the 2nd half of this season and beyond.

Those two Cardiff players wondering if they can also get a quick hug from Klopp.

No offence, but there’s a reason he’s commentating  in Australia.  Even Robot Wars was too good for him.

Assist in his first game, that minute with the knee brought me back to VVD last season.

Big sigh of relief it was nothing.
