Pretty interesting. Finished two episodes and I think that I know what it's going to be about

Seems to me to be a fairly similar idea to the Doctor Who episode where the water was intelligent, but we'll see
Overtones of Doom (The Game) and shady experiments..
.. plus zombies. It's always zombies in the end isn't it?
But maybe aliens? Alien Zombies? Zaliens?
