Admittedly I'm not really a die hard Rugby Championship follower but are Australia just plain shit these days? England were 1/7 I saw earlier. Never known anything like it.

They seem ridiculous odds.

I didn’t see any of it but Australia beat South Africa twice in the summer I think. So they’re dangerous as usual. We’ve beaten them 7 in a row which probably accounts for the odds but law of averages means that has to end at some point.

I guess home advantage would have England as favourites but I’d have it a lot narrower than that.

Great game, great performance. NZ after a tough season, looked flat. I saw them lose to SF a few weeks ago, utterly titanic, no wonder they look shagged.

Still though, great performance.

Thought Low and Ringrose were outstanding, as were the pack. Great bit about today was it is a reasonably young side that is coming through.

Only downer for me, personally, was the lack of Munster players. Even those on the bench were the old guard. The club is really just a shadow of its old self these days. As a Limerick man, it's a tough watch.
Beatings will continue until morale improves...

Longest away stretch of the modern era or something like that. A lot of those ABs haven’t been home for a long time.

Which still doesn’t explain the bloody haircuts, they had them before they left

Yeah, tough old schedule. Makes away wins all the more special when they come along I guess.

I have no idea who is regarded as Six Nations favourites any more but Ireland looked good there and despite the loss today Scotland look in good shape. Going to be another wide open tournament I think.

I watched France vs Argentina the other day, the French have found some absolute monsters in the forward pack. Loads of dynamism but, as usual, tactical failings and individual brain farts never seem far away from ruining their efforts.

Sounds like after a decent start it’s fizzled out a bit there and then didn’t capitalise on the extra man. 16-12 England at half time.

Pleasantly surprised with that, but much more so by how dominant we were. If we had taken our scores before HT it would have been a 15-20 point win, which is sorta amazing.
3 wins in 5 years against the ABs: setting up nicely for our quarter final against them in RWC'23, where nothing can go wrong for us.

Just going off the radio but feels like England have wasted a few opportunities or been a bit disjointed depending on your viewpoint.

Front row inexperience a bit of a worry about specially with SA next week.

Frustrating stuff from Scotland today. Lack of discipline, and poor kicking from the tee absolutely killed us. Sort those out and we would have one.

Both tries superb though - Hogg now joint highest try scorer for Scotland.

Who’s he level with?

Was the England score a bit flattering? 7 points with the last playing the game always helps.

Aye, Finn would struggle to hit a cows arse with a banjo today.  Crackin atmosphere at Murrayfield though and great day out.

I thought they were there for the taking until the Bomb Squad came off the bench and then it slipped away.

What a fukin hit from Etzebeth on Russell though, that’s gonna hurt in the morning  ;D

Bit gutted I don’t get to go to matches anymore through work now that the central bank has stopped us, wankers. Was offered 2 for cost price from a mate but it was still €250 and that along with the days pints etc felt extortionate in these times. The whole covid thing has made me think a day out like that just isn’t worth it. Or maybe I’m just a sadder bastard than I was previously.

Can’t argue with that. The experience of going to the matches over the last few years was shite for the most part cause you were doing it with work and nobody was interested in the game. For the last NZ match In Landsdowne I legged it away as soon is I got into the place. Best atmosphere I’ve seen in there since it’s been rebuilt. I’m sure today was something like that and that was a more dominant performance.

Playing NZ has always been a sore point for us since we didn’t beat them in over 100 years where’s that isnt the case for the other NH sides as far as I know. 3 in 5 years is not so bad. We go down there next year for 3 tests.. I’d kill for 1 win.

Wales not beaten them since 1953, it was 3-1 to Wales in victories at that time, the All Blacks now lead the series 33-3 (like a scoreline in one of our matches against them!).

It's a monkey on the players' backs now of course and we don't look any closer to getting an elusive win
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

Thought that we were just getting back in to the second half when we had 2 really poor lineouts that lost us the momentum and the match. Fine margins, but we were in it at that point.

Is Russell the best kicker we have or is it giving him it to keep him happy because he wants it? Sure Hogg used to kick for us.

Loved the commentators "here comes a herd of Rhino's" when they made there substitutions just before half time.

An utter shitshow from Wales today, got a bit lucky really, played against 13 men for 20 minutes but we're still trailing with 10 minutes to play.

An amazing try from Zammit though, his pace is breathtaking.

Wales won which is a positive but Fiji were fantastic and had it not been for indiscipline would have won I think

Farrell and Jamie George both out of the SA game. Going to be a pretty callow side against probably the worst side to be facing in that situation.

Hogg just became Scotland's record try scorer with his 25th.

Japan been decent so far and Scotland with very poor discipline but Scotland taking their chances.

Early try for Tuilagi in the corner. Finished like a true winger. :D

And now he’s off injured already. Very inexperienced line up now.

They’ve worked out a pretty good strategy. Changing the entire front row at the same time works a treat, especially as the starting three and the three subs are so good. Sth Africa should be in a biggish lead by now.

They have two world class front rows. We maybe have one world class front rower (and you could debate that). Might get away with it against Australia but you don’t stand a chance against SA.

True. We struggled when they did it against us. In fact, it turned the game in their favour much like this one.

It’s that they turn up the physicality at the breakdown too, that’s a lot of pressure to deal with

Well that’s a handy try. England are still impressive passing from hand. That is the one element that has Jones’ stamp on this England side. His Australian side were also very good at picking the right passes, with real width on the pass.

We are giving away a penalty every 2 or 3 minutes so I can't see it.
