Crushing your rivals at their place is the stuff out of dreams. Liverpool made them look utter shit today. Hope Milly and Naby are okay, but what an amazing result.

The best pasrt is to see how they just gave up. After the 5th, the only way they could contain the damage was to conspire to get one sent off, so's they can be justified to rest back in a low block.
After that, they just gave up. Didn't wanna play footy anymore and wondering if they should let their agent know that they're done. What a utter, utter humiliation. After Everton last season, it was the right thing to do.

Not a bad thing, but still frustrating. I seem to recall when we drubbed Villa six nil and there was talk that their players warned if we scored anymore they'd start injuring our lads. It's despicable. Basically resorting to  violence (or the threat of it) because they're being outplayed.

Still, they will know we could have hit double figures if we'd pressed them. This will haunt them for a long time.

They messed it all up buying Ronaldo. At the last minute... the wool got pulled over their eyes because of sentiment.
Fernandes did so well. Was the star of the team, and they had just gotten over Pogba. They didn't have to pander to him anymore.
They then got Sancho and he was supposed to be the man leading the attack... then Ronaldo and his agent decided to slip back into the old joint quickly to pick their pockets before retiring!

Ole had slowly started to build that team- a grotesque team in his own image, but he made some basic smart moves, until Ronaldo fell into his lap.

Now Sancho's rotting on the bench. Even his old club recently expressed their sadness over seeing him being wasted away.
Ronaldo has to play every game. What Ronaldo says, goes! How Ronaldo behaves, the team follows!

This is a trend from them isn't it. They make a lot of bad investments. What's hilarious is it seems to continue well past Woodward. Getting Ronaldo at that age was ridiculous, and as you say with Sancho - what an absolute waste. I rate Lindelof, but Maguire is comically poor. And for that price! Fernandes is world class, but it's one step forward, two steps back for them. I love seeing it fall apart.
