On the retired managers vs anything goes thing. From my albeit minimal research, if you go retired only then there are 5 or so OP managers. The rest being solidly good. If you make it anyone goes then I reckon it will be a lot more competitive with a lot more crossover on the picks. Although the bald fraud would be problematic with very likely free reign on picking Messi.
