In one of the slowest and low energy games I have ever seen, West Brom look knackered by 65 mins

I dont care what the law says, there's no way that should be a handball. It's from a yard away and his arm's against his body

I was under the impression that the law had been changed? I remember it being highly contentious last season when a lot of goals were being disallowed because ANY accidental handball in the buildup is a foul, and we all agreed it was terrible then too.

And no yellow for deliberate handball by Gomes.

And that should have been a second yellow for Gomes.

There’s an old football saying that particularly applies to Everton: if you can’t take it, don’t dish it out.

it’s gone, why do people get so wound up, every match thread the same ‘how did we lose to so and so.....’. We know why we lost, we where injury ravaged, getting fuck all from referees, couldnt’ hit a barn door, and making daft mistakes at the back.

My advise, don’t watch it - that’s the easiest answer, don’t look at the scores every few minutes. You won’t be missing anything from not watching the likes of West Brom, Everton, Spurs and Fulham play - I can guarantee you.

There really does seem to be some teams who have double standards applied. You can't tackle an Everton player yet Holgate has both arms round a West Brom player and nothing is given

I was honestly pleasantly surprised for 20 minutes at how this ref - England - was handling this match, as he’s new to me.

How wrong I was.

No, but just a bit more at this point would be enough to miss out on the CL unfortunately.

Might just have to win it.  ;D

Giving credit to the linesman for putting the flag up...when it’s that tight there has to be an element of guesswork surely.
