Brilliant game by all the players, Jota hat trick superb, exhibition stuff at times, credit to Atalanta for not getting nasty. other goalkeepers we've seen would have taken Jota out when coming out to stop him scoring his third goal.

Wow! This was a really, really good performance. Didn't expect that, but this must be one of the more impressive away performances we have had in Italy. Our throughballs were deadly and we could have scored more than the five we got. We looked solid all over the pitch. Fantastic start to the CL campaign. Jota? Looks great, doesn't he? 😀

Really pleased with how we played them - they had long periods where they couldn't seem to get anything right. They tried to sort it a bit second half with a change but conceded a couple more for forgetting just how quick our forwards are. Ignoring the obvious, thought Jones had a tidy game in there and that pass to Mo was superb. Neco's wasn't bad either for the chance Mo missed towards the end.

Stunning. I can't think of many examples where we've played that well in 2020 - just outstanding.

Even better - realistically we've earned ourselves one or two games resting players in the CL (or we could go all out for 18 points...)

Brilliant performance. Every single player, including the subs, played well. Gomez and Williams had a great game.
Atalanta’s defence are so slow.

I could pick out lots of players who had a great game but Jota was MOTM.

“Salah having a quiet game”.........he was unstoppable at times and could have scored three.

We didn't really play that well but played within ourselves.

Some great finishing from Jota, Salah and Mane was the difference.

We got away with a few at the back.

Nowhere near our best which is (as I keep saying) what we want. You do not want to be peaking now.

But to be just ticking over and to be top of the league and 3 wins out of 3 in Europe? Not too shabby

That ref was shit. He allowed 2 heavy challenges to go unpunished on Jota, when they were worth a card but was giving every little thing to them. Mané was getting battered as well.

Thought the crèche played superbly.
Joe was at his best. And Rhys Williams was doing Virgil impressions.
Curtis Jones was imperious. Ref booked him because the Atalanta player screamed.
Hendo was Hendo.
Naby looked sharp as well.

Never thought Jota would be this good but his movement is top notch - in this team he’ll get bags of chances and goals compared to Wolves.

Really well done to our recruitment team on him.

Great to see everyone still hungry at 5-0. It seems the last few weeks may have just lit a fire under the players.

Our off the ball movement has been superb. Playing with full confindence, everyone pulling their weight. Jota, Mane and Salah all willing to run in behind and cause a nuisance. Jotas off the ball movement through the middle was phenomenal, making it look easy for passes. Gini and Henderson patrolling the midfield like rottweilers. Jones holding his own, keeping it neat and tidy. Defence playing as one, TAA and Robertson keeping it simple and solid. Williams kept his head and got through the game. Alli with some quality sweeping and saves. Gomez looked assured compared to recent weeks. All round fantastic performance. Manager got his tactics spot on and got the much deserved win.
