App icons status bar
« on: May 29, 2020, 11:54:08 am »
Got a Realme X2 smartphone yesterday. It was running ColorOS 6. It had something that I really liked which was coloured app icons at the top ( status bar) i.e. the Gmail notification icon was the red and white folder, Twitter was blue etc.

As soon as I upgraded, there was Realme UI and the dull plain white app icons were back. Now I googled it a bit and apparently since Android 5.0 the guidelines say the app notifications must be white in the status bar.

Is there a way around it other than flashing/rooting your phone back to the phone's original OS? Think it voids the warranty if you do it, right?
Messi in fact doesn't have a recognizable trait.
