Was interested to see if fan update had any impact on the sale today. Doesn't look like it so far. But if there are fewer people eligible there might be more left over after the initial rush.

Wont be trying on Thursday as that will be worse. They should sell those 2 games on say Wednesday afternoon, surely it would be more beneficial for everyone as the sessions on Thursday will be huge

You can buy without having done Fan Update - which you have until the end of the year to do. Cards won't be active in January for games if you've not done it (and had 13+ from last season). I would expect these to go into a late availability sale, but who knows what numbers we're talking - a couple dozen or hundreds?

There must be people with loads of cards who know they've been rumbled though? There'll be touts who know they won't be able to pass the fan update, so theoretically they should be out of today's sale.
Half of people not having done it by now seems a lot. Though I suppose this week's sale will have upped those numbers a bit.

We can only really guess. Seeing as you can transfer the membership to another person, the cards that may get caught are probably under completely fake names (and haven't managed to blag their way with a fake passport etc).

A lot of technical difficulties and perhaps not so easy for some of the older fans to do. We'll see the end of December.

Would've made a lot more sense to do this at the end of the season. Lets you weed out people on 13+ or 4+ before any sales take place - as potentially regulars are paying for more expensive seats as a result.

Suspect we will only know in July sales next season if the fan update as impacted touts.

We've been told by the ticket office that memberships can't be transferred into another's name. They will only allow season tickets to be changed. They gave the reason that a membership can be bought by anyone at any time and would be unfair to pass previous history onto someone else

They do let you change memberships into someone elses name mate.



Our terms and conditions of membership state that members should only have one membership account in their name. Therefore, it will not be possible to have more than one membership account, whether this is an Official Membership, Season Ticket or other account, with the same details. Should you have more than one Official Membership, Season Ticket or other account in your name, then we will offer you this one-off chance to update those accounts with another supporter’s details.
