I’d agree to be fair to an extent. Jones is a good player, but Elliott’s ceiling could be ridiculously high.

That’s not to say Jones doesn’t have a future here, he’s more than good enough I think. But Harvey is going to be the bollocks

I think the biggest issue for Jones is that he hasn't found a settled position. He is a great talent. I think Harvey is ahead at the moment but that right mid-role just fits him like a glove.

Absolutely delighted for Harvey with his goal.

Don’t think we need to compare Elliott and Jones. While they have come through at more or less the same time they’re different players and have different roles.

At the moment Harvey has been able fit in better in his role because it suits his skill set down to the ground. I don’t think Jones has fully found his feet in the first team yet as I think he has a more prescribed role to play for  want of a better word. As he gets older I think his confidence will grow and more of his natural attributes will shine through. He’s shown flashes of it at times.

Still I wouldn’t disagree that Harvey has the higher ceiling, but I look forward to seeing them both when they play now and in the future

His mentality instantly turned to recovery mode. He didn't give a second to wallowing in self pity, which would have been perfectly understandable.

The lad carries himself with an aire of class, he's responsible, he does the "right" thing, he has a great attitude of perseverance, he acknowledges the roles others play in his life- even Rovers declared his class on their official twitter the other day and others talk highly of him.

We're all aware of his efforts for the community during the pandemic. Young footballers can look up to him- some older than him. His actions and the way he carries himself shows he's wise beyond his years.
An all-round good egg, not just in the football dept. You can't buy that in a person- especially in an environment and age where class is sorely needed. It is valuable in itself!

Star. There aren’t too many players that just look so competent and composed on the field at this stage in their career. He reminds me of watching Robbie Fowler when he burst on the scene. Different roles but a clear similarity in terms of the gift they’ve been bestowed (and worked immensely for). He really excites me, even more than Salah, Mane, Trent, Thiago and Diaz.
