What’s your point? If that were the case I’d massively fancy us to beat them.

Our squad depth has been excellent all season, there’s little that can be done when players as key as Salah and Firmino are out at the same time. If you want to see our squad depth look at the players replacing them not those on the bench, and both have had decent seasons. A far better scenario than bringing Lallana on to replace Salah as we did a year ago.

Fair point, but you have to have big asterisks next to the names of Lallana and Ox. The former because he hasn't been fit for such a long time, and the latter because he's coming off such a significant injury. People are expecting Ox to be at the level he was before his injury and Lallana is on the slide at the wrong side of 30. How important they are to us anyway is a different argument because they've not been part of anything for a year and 18 months.
