Why did Sainz go so wide there? He basically gave up the position without a fight. If he had a slight chance of a podium it's now vanished.

trying to work out here who actually didn't have a spin/contact at some point in that race. didn't seem like many.

Definitely refreshing. I'm sick of the same story every week. I'm buzzing for Sainz that he managed to finish 5th after being down in 14th. I was hoping Bottas would drag him through and pass either one of or both Kvyat & Stroll but it wasn't to be.

Very impressed with Albon today too. Everything that I said about expecting Gasly to be dumped by Red Bull and not rating him prior to his move seems to be eventuating. I think that ALbon gets that drive either this season or next.

the evidence so far this season is that they've got the worst of their 4 drivers in one of the main cars.

Why are they not going to Hockenheim anymore? Fed up of the decent tracks always being binned off.

Gasly is a strange one. He might need what Kvyat needed. Some time out the limelight from one of the bigger manufacturers. It wasnt long ago when we expected Kvyat to get binned but we probably didn't imagine him getting a look in again at red bull but it could happen. Gasly could take a similar path. It's hard when your team mate is someone as quick as max though. Obviously you dojt help yourself when you probably arent driving as well as the likes of Albon and Kvyat too

It's a shame, much prefer the natural racing tracks to the stream of street ones. But as you say, its all about cash.

I don't see that happening as I don't think that he's got the requisite talent. Kvyat made a lot of mistakes, but there were glimpses of a better driver there, which isn't to say that I think that Kvyat is a world-beater by any stretch. With Gasly, I just don't see it and given Red Bull's approach, I think that he'll be gone sooner rather than later. All just my personal opinion like, but as I said, I kinda saw this coming.
