I'm a little less optimistic than most on here as the opening fixtures look pretty tough to me. West Ham and Palace have both had good pre-seasons if you look at their results and I think pretty much all their players, new signings included, have been involved from the beginning of their pre-season. West Ham have brought in an excellent manager, made some good signings and will come to Anfield under no pressure. We should beat them but it could be tougher than people think. Palace will play their first home game of the season on a Monday night against us so that is going to be tough right from the get go. Again we should win but not straightforward, especially if Zaha doesn't leave. Brighton should be a routine win. Leicester hasn't been easy in recent seasons and they've made some good signings this summer plus they should have Vardy and Maguire in the swing of things by then. Spurs' first game at their new ground when their players will want to make sure of a win will be as difficult as you'd expect.
I think 10 points out of that would be pretty good going. 11-12 would be very good, 13-15 utopia. Anything less than 10 would be dissapointing but perhaps not the worst thing in the world as those fixtures would be out of the way early on.
I'm predicting 10 (W, W, W, D, L).
