He could be hitting 12-15 goals this year which is insane considering he's not playing in every match
His goals and assists per minute rate must be pretty tasty.

I don't know about his assists but from what I've read on here it's six goals in 18 games, so that's 1 in 3?  That's pretty damned good for a player who isn't an automatic first choice.

He must be loving his football right now.  Imagine coming from Stoke to now being an integral part of a title charge to dislodge the richest club on the planet.

Quite crucially Shaq has something a lot of our other players don't have, title winning experience, playing for Bayern and Basel. Neither as big a challenge as the prem of course but it's good to have it. The only other players I can think of who have won titles here are probably Milner with City and Fabinho who won a French title.

His tally of 6 is very good so far, could have had a couple more throughout the season as well, hopefully he's into double figures over the next couple of months and picks up another title medal  8)

Thirteen million pounds

An absolute steal, and he suits our system so well - especially when trying to break down defensive sides.

Some great quotes from Klopp about him in the Arsenal pre-match presser:

'He's adapted more and more to our football. He changed our side - you can see the moment when Shaq gets the ball in a bit of space, you see everyone running, as they always expect the ball in behind. It gives a few options, and helps us a lot which is fantastic'.

A really great signing who is clearly very happy here and enjoying his football, and as Klopp says - still lots more to come from him.
I've got OCD, but I prefer to call it CDO so it's in alphabetical order.

To be honest, I had no idea the likes of Alisson and Lovren had ever won anything, and I assume Mane/Keita both won one in Salzburg. Sturridge of course with Chelsea but I didn't count him because I assume he played a few games at most.

None are to the level of the prem but it's welcome experience.

He was class tonight. Works hard, has a good first touch, good passer, great vision. Unlucky not to get an assist. Dropped deep to help Gini and Fabinho. Has quietly become a key player.

Surprised by the lack of recognition of his performance today, not quite as outstanding as previous outings but certainly provided some quality creativity.

He works hard too, covers as much as he can. I'd say he's probably the only headache Klopp has because we definitely look more opened up and sometimes less balanced with him, Mane, Firmino and Salah playing. But we're so good it doesn't usually matter. Might against City, wouldn't be surprised if he got 90 today because he's benched for that game.

That pass he curved around the Arsenal defence with the outside of his foot in the second half would have been one of the assists of the season if Salah had scored.

Seemed like he popped up everything yesterday, worked very hard defensively and his passing in general was excellent.  What a signing he's been.

Honestly, he's performing as well as we could have hoped for from Fekir who was touted as a 50-60m player. Out of all the summer outfield signings he's probably been the best of them.

The relegation squad were on fire in December.

Robertson, Gini and Shaqiri.

Wonder who we'll bring in this year. My bet is Sessegnon or Mitrovic  ;D

He’s been excellent all season, and was great yesterday. I didn’t think he’d be this good, nor did I expect his teamwork to be at this level. I was completely wrong about that part, he’s yet another allround talent with no apparent weakness that Klopp has added to this squad. Our transfers under Klopp are as good as you could possibly imagine.

Here here, nice little player to have in the squad coming here with a point to prove after his time at Stoke.  I’m glad he’s taken the opportunity at a top club and run with it, long may it continue.

Pretty good chance we were in the mix very very early - and he clearly had some affinity for Liverpool from our earlier interest. Not that it's a lock - but Kornmeyer knew him at Bayern and apparently talked him up and Klopp knew of him from his time in Germany. I also think that we have shown that in the previous 2 summers that we weren't put off by the stigma of relegation.

The others probably looked at him as a luxury player and rightly or wrongly might have bought into the media bias of him being a trouble maker and being lazy.

Short memories IMO. He has one hell of a way to go to be near him at the moment in a red a shirt.

I think he's potentially absorbed the coaching better than Coutinho did.

Coutinho was the star when Klopp started, and was more or less given the run of how he wanted to play, which I think is why his shots outside the area remained so high throughout his time here.

On the other hand, Shaqiri has come into a well drilled attack with roles for everyone, so he's perhaps listening to instruction a bit better?
