Does anyone know how members there are and how that compares to the past? I seem to remember I used to wait around 15-20 min on average to get in and almost always got something (on 7+ games admittedly) and now I hardly get a look in.

This is how I believe it is broken down in the past.

About half the tickets available to members for todays sale. The other half are for the guaranteed sale.

Approx. total of 10,000 tickets each game.

The later members sales are much easier in my opinion, although i do appreciate you have to do one game at a time. Also anyone who can take time to check tickets in the week before the matches could take a card from zero to 12-14 matches in a season without too much trouble. I do understand that the majority arent in a position to do the checking though through work etc

Only got Arsenal. Nearly had City but the Anfield upper block is adult and child only and the Anfield lower was severly restricted view which I couldn't be bothered with.

My first time in the 4+ sale and I got fuck all. I've been lucky enough in the Thursday sales in the past, I've always managed to get tickets. Hopefully that trend continues tomorrow. I got straight in last November, which caught me totally off guard, nearly didn't realise as I was preparing myself to go outside for a cigarette.
There are only 6 games tomorrow with a lot more people eligible, which will be interesting.

They seriously need to have a look at the system.

Got one for city everton and arsenal.

Eventually saw there was only a single (on it's own, no other seats) in the adults child section. Wouldn't let me check out. But had to clear my entire basket.

Got the other three again. But come on. It's 2018.

I was always off with the dates of these last year. Are they late late. Or a week.or so before?

the way it’s going they’ll permanently piss off those who came when we were shit and those johnny come lately who have no idea of how it works and resent it being so shit they go back to cricket and rugby union or whatever

Another year, same old story. Millions of people can post what they had for breakfast on Facebook simultaneously yet a few thousand people can't buy a few tickets.

Granted the tech budget is vastly different but so is the scale FFS.

A few thousand people have just bought tickets though didn’t they?! Facebook and the like are not restricted by capacity, tickets are. The biggest problem is that there aren’t enough seats in the ground.

There's a bigger problem in that it doesn't benefit the club to change the current software or method of selling tickets

Not sure what they can do though really. 12,000 members queuing for 3,000 tickets.

The software now works like it's supposed to (unlike last year). You could chop and change the games/requirements a bit but you'll still have the supply and demand issue.

Anfield Road development is the obvious fix I suppose.

No matter what method they use, there isn’t enough seats to satisfy demand. Have 70,000 seats and you don’t have any of these issues. The system also becomes largely irrelevant. The problem is we have 54,000 seats and demand for 70,000+.

This didn't used to be 4+ did it? Think it was 6+ or 8+ or something at one time. Never used to be last match of the season though. Thinking about it, might have just been United and the Ev for segregation reasons.

The problem is we have people buying 19 games a season and not actually attending those 19 games (obviously there is people that attend all the games though as well). They retain all the guaranteed loyalty season on season passing onto mates / touting / whatever else. The club doesn't care enough though to change the system.

If the person in the ground actually got the credit then the spread of credits would be totally different to what it is now with such a high number of people on 13+

The sales could be then far more staggered and realistic

Until photo cards or something like that comes in though nothing will change

The other obvious big issue is lack of seats for the demand

They will be going after the empty seats etc this season, if you don’t attend you should lose the credit. I suspect they will introduce this, this coming season.
