I still hold the hope that Rhian has a future here, he needs games to get up to speed and hopefully he will show the reason why many of us still think he has the potential for a great future at this club.
Yeah he's been in that no mans land between youth and senior level for 2yrs now, obviously not helped by a couple of serious injuries but its almost now or never for him.
I know he's still only 19 and there's still time but he's missed a lot of development time, at a really crucial time for any lad.
That building up of his strength and stamina whilst his body changes from boy to man was curtailed through his injuries and Jurgen has already mentioned how he struggled with senior level training sessions once he'd recovered.
A decent spell at Swansea with possibly another loan somewhere next season and we might have a better idea of the player we have.
Watching him in this game so far he'll be battered black and blue when he gets home [emoji23]
