Stansted's fine if you're travelling from the South. But from the north you've often got add-ons of expensive train in order to get to the airport with enough time, and/or overnight accommodation. Jacks up the price considerably.
London ones usually stay cheaper. Manc and Liverpool go straight up
Anyone know what the main square is called or where it is?
Late to the party on this. Anyone help me find a decent / cheap route? 👌🏻🤷🏻♂️
We just drank down by the river front back in 2007.
Surely be guaranteed with Bordeaux, Utd, Dortmund, Sevilla?
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.
stay in Lisbon and a 3 hour drive looks the cheapest option, Anybody fancy organising a RAWK mini bus from Lisbon
Expecting it to go 3/2/1 from group stage. Not guaranteed with Sevilla but think near enough imo.
Porto's Stadium is nearly 8k bigger than Sevilla, so would be surprised if the allocation is less than Sevilla
Yeah but the allocation Chelsea and Leicester got was 2500-ish and we got 2450 + 250 for Seville.
Riberia district on the front, boss Irish bar called Ryan's. Porto is a great city, done Porto QF in 2001 and Boavista in CL.
https://www.sportoptions.com/72bd211574/index.aspday trip now up too
Any cheap routes back on the Thursday? Manc or L'pool. Best I can find is £102
Ryanair Porto to Milan MPX at 10.05 is £24. Gets in at 13.35. Flybe MPX to Manc at 15.25 is £60.Bit of a risky one as it's different airlines so you're not protected on the day if the Ryanair flights late. But it's a route nonetheless.Trains Gatwick / Heathrow / stansted to Liverpool currently cheapish too so flying into London an option.I'm waiting to see how prices fluctuate / what comes up over next couple of weeks.
Why would anyone want to travel to Portugal and go to an Irish bar? defeats the object of going..can do that at home
I live in Porto. Ryan's is just your run of the mill Irish pub. Decent but forgettable.Several nice bars in the centre around the Galerias de Paris area.Aliados is the main square of the city.Don't forget to pop over to the city on the other side of the river (Vila Nova de Gaia) for some port wine.
Hope we get some news on tickets soon.
