Mignolet hasn't had a ropey start.
7 goals in 4 games would suggest that a rest would do him and Karius a lot of good.

My point is it's not for a rest.

Unless you live inside's Klopp's head you don't know that, so stop pretending you do.

Should be an open game with lots of goals and terrible defending. Hope we can outscore them!

Some of our fans don't support the manager's decisions

Don't have an issue with it at all but I don't believe he is rested for our biggest test of the season.

He's not been great tho.
If we were dropping players who've not been great we wouldn't have a defence.

We were unbeaten against the rest of the top six last season, I can see us having a similar result this season too.

I can accept Klopp wants to give Karius another shot at being number 1 - but why bring him back in such a high-profile game with such pressure?

Strange decision to me - but good luck to him.

Don't have an issue with it at all but I don't believe he is rested for our biggest test of the season.

So what happens when Simon is injured or ill? We just drop another keeper in whose had no experience of a game like this? That is bollocks it makes perfect sense to do it now, rather than later when those games will becoming thick and fast. We won't have the same chance later, so let's do it now while we can, and if anything happens to Simon we know we have someone who can come in.

It's not like he's been perfect in this start, and for me it's the perfect time to give another keeper a chance.

Mignolet hasn't had a ropey start.

The Watford equaliser and juggling an easy catch against Hoffenheim are only 2 incidents that spring to mind. No one here knows the exact reason why Klopp has made this decision. Maybe it is just a rest as he says, maybe it's something else. We can't really judge whether it is right or wrong until after 4pm.

But the manager said it was, and it makes sense with the games we've had and we have coming up, tactically speaking.

What do you know that we don't?

Resting a keeper after four games and bringing in a keeper who has not played since he was dropped for being shite, and against a team that are known for their attacking ability too. Yeah right.

This, you need a consistent CB pairing and GK.

So Wijnaldum missing a simple header is now Mignolet's fault? Dropping a catch doesn't equal a ropey start.

Not too bothered about migs. Thought karius was his equal from what I've seen last year.

Anyway, hope the front 6 score half a dozen to make it a moot point.

Reckon we will need a two goal buffer, thankfully our front line should be good for it.
